Maurice Pennington

Founder of Accrapak Systems
Maurice worked in the plastics Industry all his life he started in 1961 working for USI part of the Cumberland engineering group on the site that Accrapak are now situated.
He worked as an engineer working on Pelletisers and Granulators and also spent some years working for Conair in the USA.
In 1976 Maurice came back to England and set up his own business Accrapak, he ran the company with a hands on approach and a great sense of humour, his knowledge of the plastic industry enabled him to create a successful business and his engineering background led to the development of machinery built specifically for the plastics industry.
Maurice also made a lot of friends along the way and will be sadly missed by everyone who worked with him as well as many people who met him during his life.
